Dear freshmen,
I am a member of the class of 2009. I am very excited to chat with you guys about all of the responsibilities there will be and about the number one thing that will get you very far--respect.
Freshman year is the year that you should make sure you are very focused and determined to go far. Your education is very important. You need to be aware of all the consequences and challenges that you will face. You should always remember that your number one goal is to exceed in all that you do.
You should be sure to tend to your responsibilities. Responsibilities are very important, and I’m sure if you are mature about everything and responsible period, then you will know what to do. Taking care of your responsibilities is a big part of your education, because in order to succeed, you have to be responsible for your work. You have to make sure your school work is done, not copied from a friend. If you do copy, then basically you’ll only be dumbing yourself down. If I were you, I’d take note of that. An example of that is from my ninth grade year. I dumbed myself down. I forgot to do my homework one night, and I thought that it was okay to copy a friend of mine. But what I didn’t know is that we were going to be quizzed on it at the start of class. You shouldn’t depend on your friends for your work. You should be responsible for yourself.
Respect is the key to life. With respect, you can go very far with your education and also your life. Having respect for yourself and others is very important for your well-being. When you respect and treat others the way you want to be treated, than othersr eturn the favor on your behalf. You shouldn’t worry about all of the chaos and drama that is very common during your 9th grade year. Just have the heart to walk away from it, or handle situations by taking on your responsibilities. Respect your education, also. By respecting your education, you are proving that you are able to take on new things and to take on what the world lays out for you. Respect is a big deal. To show respect and give respect is like a token and through respect you learn to get along with others and learn from your mistakes. Just be ready and prepared and have those two clues in mind.
Sincerely,
Monte Stephens

You're right. Respect really will get you very far in life. Although respect is not all thats needed for high school students, it's one of the main priority
ReplyDeletei do agree with this because you have to be responsible and respectful
ReplyDeleteMonte brought up a good point when she stated "not to copy others homework". When you do that, you dont learn anything and it holds truth to when she says "your dumbing yourself down" life is much eaiser if you just do your work TRUST ME !!!!!
